Cookie policy

What we use cookies for, how long they last, and who runs them. Short version: only what's needed to keep the site working — plus optional analytics if you opt in. No advertising, no cross-site tracking.

What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use closely-related browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) for the same purposes. "Cookies" in this policy means all of these.

Strictly necessary cookies

Analytics cookies

We don't currently set any cookies in this category. If we add any in future, they will be listed here and will only load after you opt in via the cookie preferences panel.

Advertising & tracking cookies

We don't use them. We don't run retargeting, we don't sell data to ad networks, and we don't embed third-party advertising pixels. If we ever introduce any of these, this page will be updated and we'll ask for your consent first via the cookie banner.

Your choices

When you first visit the site you're shown a banner with three options: Accept all, Reject non-essential, and Preferences. Your choice is stored locally for 12 months and applied on every subsequent page load — analytics scripts only load if you've accepted them.

You can change your mind at any time using the button above (or in the footer). Clearing this site's storage in your browser will reset your choice and bring the banner back.

If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal, we treat that as an automatic opt-out from analytics — you won't see the banner and no analytics scripts will load.

Browser-level controls

You can also accept, block or delete cookies via your browser settings: • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions Clearing cookies will end any active session and reset your preferences. For more on cookies and how to control them, see ico.org.uk/your-data-matters or aboutcookies.org.
